Fairphone 3 Android 11 public source release¶
We’re happy to announce that the source code for Android 11 on Fairphone 3 is now publcly available! This includes all the Android framework code and anything else that is available under open-source licenses.
With the source code and our build instructions you can build your own Android image from source!
Please do not that while this contains all the proprietary bits for making the phone work in form of a binary blobs package, it doesn’t include any other 3rd party software like Google apps, DRM, etc.
Please have a look at the related topic in our community forum. Also, we would be happy to receive contributions from you on our public Gerrit instance.
